Gun law and hunting question for coyotes

Ok been researching subject but felt like asking for confirmation. IS IT LEGAL FOR ME TO USE A .303 LEE ENFIELD FOR COYOTE HUNTING? i know overkill but love the weapon.
Can I legally carry the weapon loaded on private property I have written permission to hunt on as long as I have possession of permission letter and hunting license on my person?
can I legally transport my rifle in my car between properties if rifle is in trunk and ammo/clip is in body of car in shut container out of my reach? ALL INPUT WELCOME THANK YOU.

What type and caliber of weapon you hunt with depends on which state you reside.

Here in Ohio, any weapon is allowed, at any time of the year, day or night...except for during the 7 days of the Deer Gun Season.

upwind you can use any caliber rifle you want for predators here in Indiana on private land year round and on public land from October to March on public land , hell if you got a 50 BMG or a Sherman Tank they'll both work also ........lol
