What do you think, I saw coyote yesterday caring food across a open field. I was coming from a pasture with lots of cover. I would think it would eat right there, or close by. It would have to go a good mile to get to cover again. Im in N. ILL. I would think it's a little early for pups. They should just be breading, or so they say. Between my neighbor and I we have 15 down. 7 for me 8 for him. And we only live 1/2 ml. apart. What do you think?

I have seen them drag stuff to the middle of an area so they can see anyone coming to take it from them.
Best one though was a coyote with a fresh rabbit kill about 100 yards out in a field when a bald eagle came in and flapped its wings and snatched the rabbit away form the coyote. I too a still picture with my phone but wish I had it on video.

I just thought it was a little early for them to have pups, in my neck of the woods. Maybe spring is closer then I thought. Still here them most nights, even after thining them out. Would haved loved to see that eagle on a coyote. I know my two smaller dogs don't like them big birds at all. Fun to watch them try to get them birds off the barn roof. (grin)
