Looks like he did a good job from the picture. I may need my Nikon Scope done someday. My AR15 is Realtree AP camo and I'm thinking about having the scope done in Realtree AP Camo to match the rifle. Gander Mountain said it would cost me about $60 for the scope and that it would take three weeks to get it back. Nice looking gun you got there Hoosierdaddy. I have the Rock River Arms Scope mount but mine is black matte. I like it although it's heavy. But that's a good thing for mounting and unmounting and remounting the scope mount onto the AR's Picatinny rail. My scope retains it's zero setting at 100 yards even if I take the mount of my rifle and put it back on the next week. It's ROCK SOLID. I weighted my scope and the RRA mounting Set of Rings and it all weight just a shade over 2 Lbs. My rifle weights around 6.5 lbs unloaded. With everything mounted on the rifle (unloaded) it weights almost ten pounds. I added three of the 3" picatinny rail sections to the barrel shroud and then put a BAD Lever on today. Everything on my AR is original from the Factory except for the new MagPul ambidextrous sling mount back plate that I installed myself. Beware of tiny springs and pins under tension when you do this job. Had it done by a guy named Jeff Wampler in Evensville Mid West Hydrographics ....He charged me $250 for the whole gun , scope , and two mags , had it done in 3 days...... hold on I'll try and get the link from my phone and paste it on here

Mark, how does the finish hold up on hydrodipping? Does it wear at all?

Brandon , its tough as nails cant scratch it , cant even scratch it on my plastic flip up scope covers that have been dipped , the grip is not even wearing , I believe the matte finish clear coat he uses is the ticket ........i'm pleased with it , money well spent I believe .

If I wouldn't have spent so much money on equipment this year I would just have it done. I really like that Nat gear dip.
